Avenue PRC is a non-profit agency that provides shows youth a way of life that perhaps has not been introduced to them. We aim to help youth make wise decisions before deviant behavior occurs.

Who We Are

The Avenue is a proactive Christian resource center that was found to adhere to the needs of our families, within the community. Our communities have been fighting a losing battle, because the true battle originates in the home.

We work youth facing at risk conditions. We provide Life Changing Classes for youth as well as adults and families. Our desire is to give our families an opportunity to thrive, and experience a better quality of life.

Our Story

Husband and Wife, Dr. Oliver and Dr. Keisha Lankford have a combined 45+ years of professional experience working with youth in the public educational, private and non-profit sector and have contributed and immeasurable a positive impact on families. This powerful duo formed, The Avenue Proactive Resource Center(PRC) to help reduce the educational gap in the southern sector of Dallas County. Through a partnership and grant from the Department of Education, they are able to provide programs and resources to help youth, help themselves. Keisha and Oliver also Co-Founded Lankford Avenue. Lankford Ave is an organization that is has a continuous, viable presence, particularly throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Lankford Avenue promotes creating healthy, lasting relationships through various informative classes, seminars and support groups. In addition, Lankford Avenue is widely known for its informative domestic violence classes and sessions throughout Dallas’ Metroplex.
